I am the faculty in charge of a course-based research experience for undergraduates devoted to developing at-home or DIY Diagnostics. This DIY Diagnostics Lab is a part of The University of Texas at Austin's Freshman Research Initiative and typically engages 30-40 undergraduate researchers at any given time. With the help of three tenured advisers and the excellent staff of the FRI program, I am responsible for both the research and education directions of the DIY Lab.
