Raji Srinivasan's two main areas of expertise are in organizational innovation and marketing metrics. Organizational innovation includes new product development in technology-intensive markets, standard-setting strategies, and market entry and exit strategies. Marketing metrics includes the marketing and financial performance of firms, valuing marketing strategy, and the variability of firm performance.
Srinivasan is a panelist and commentator on a wide range of marketing issues including growth strategies in trying times, the advantages of adversity and other recession-related topics.
Among her extensive work experience, Srinivsan was the founder and chief executive of Advantage Communications in Bangalore, India. She has won numerous research and teaching awards in her career, including the American Marketing Association's inaugural Erin Anderson Award for an Emerging Female Marketing Scholar and Mentor in 2009.
Srinivasan took her PhD in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University. She also holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
