Dr. Lu's research focuses on the mechanics of flexible and stretchable electronics in all aspects including structural design, micro-fabrication, mechanical tests, bio-integration as well as analytical and numerical mechanics modeling. She is interested in the mechanics of stretchable electronics, wearable devices for diagnosis and therapy of movement disorders, and flexible glass photonics.
