Dr. Murphy researches integrated brand promotion, campaign planning and media management with an emphasis on practical applications. An observer of cultural evolution and its intersection with commercial communication, he has judged numerous advertising awards competitions. He has won several teaching awards and authored four books and approximately 40 articles in academic journals and conference proceedings. He has worked as a consultant and expert witness for a variety of firms, including media companies, advertising agencies, and other enterprises.
