John has been the violist of the Miró String Quartet for more than 25 years, and has been Faculty String Quartet in Residence at UT's Butler School of Music (BSOM) since 2003. Throughout his career in the quartet, he has been involved in commercial and promotional audio and video recording, promoting the quartet and BSOM on social media in diverse platforms, website development, and content creation for all the above, especially in the form of written program notes and educational curricula. In addition, since 2006 he has been Faculty Advisor to the Young Professional String Quartet in Residence at BSOM, working with these young artists each year to develop media for promoting their own projects and careers. www.miroquartet.com
