Dr. Franklin is the Stiernberg/Spencer Family Professor in Mental Health and Assistant Dean for the PhD program in the Steve Hicks School of Social Work. She is a world-renowned scholar in school mental health. Franklin’s research examines the practice and effectiveness of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy with children and adolescents, and school-mental-health services with a focus on the effectiveness of interventions delivered by teachers.
