Christopher Long studied at the universities of Vienna, Graz, and Munich, and completed his Ph.D.at The University of Texas at Austin in 1993. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Fulbright grant, a German Academic Exchange Grant, and the Lathrop Prize. From 1993 to 1995, he taught at the Central European University in Prague, and since 1995 in the School of Architecture at The University of Texas.He recently completed a book on the Viennese architect josef Frank and is currently working on a monograph on the Austro-American designer Paul T. Frankl.
