Carey W. King is an assistant professor of instruction in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He teaches in the Department of Business, Government, and Society and does interdisciplinary research on how energy systems interact within the economy and environment.
His research goals revolve around rigorous interpretations of the past to determine the most probable future energy pathways. King also examines how our policy and social systems can make decisions and tradeoffs among often competing factors.
King holds a B.S. and a Ph.D., both in mechanical engineering and both from UT Austin.
