Braden (Brady) Williams is an associate professor of accounting in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He has taught introductory and corporate tax classes to students in the BBA and MPA programs.

His research examines the way that firms respond to tax incentives and tax enforcement — frequently in a multi-jurisdictional setting — and has been published in top accounting journals including the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and the Review of Accounting Studies.

He earned a B.S. in accounting (minor in economics) and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He also earned a Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
