Alan J Kuperman
Alan J. Kuperman came to the LBJ School in 2005. Prior to joining the LBJ School faculty, Kuperman was Resident Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna, Italy.He has a Ph.D. in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.A. in international relations and international economics from SAIS. He has published articles and book chapters on ethnic conflict, U.S. military intervention and nuclear proliferation. He is also the author of The Limits of Humanitarian Intervention: Genocide in Rwanda and co-editor of Gambling on Humanitarian Intervention: Moral Hazard, Rebellion, and Civil War.
