Philip B Gough
A Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the American Academy for the Advancement of Science, and the International Academy for Research on Learning Disabilities, Philip Gough has retired from University of Texas at Austin in 2004. Dr. Gough chaired the Department of Psychology during 1975-1979 and directed the Center for Cognitive Science at the university. His research areas include psycholinguistics, cognition, reading, and reading acquisition. In 1986, Dr. Gough was awarded the Oscar S. Causey Award for Outstanding Contributions to Reading Research.
